Onboarding Plan:

Overall Training Objective for a govAccess/CMS Trainer:

  • Fulfil a CMS Training Request from receipt of request to closing out a CMS Completed Training Feedback Report

     

    Agenda: 30-60-90

     

    Objective for 1st 1/3 (Trainee will):

  • Participate as a trainee in all scheduled trainings during this timeframe (unless training)
  • Give feedback/overview of session following the session/ Complete all Feedback Reports of trainings attended
  • Identify each element of the step by step process of govAccess Basic CMS Training Session
    • Be able to discuss the three Learning Objectives
  • Do site preparation for all clients/session- Usernames, and training content
    • See Lesson Plan: govAccess Basic CMS Training Session- Training Materials
  • Do at least 1 live walk through with another govAccess SME- Ideally another trainer or a PM
  • Choose a 10-15 minute section of the Lesson Plan: govAccess Basic CMS Training Session and facilitate during a live session (remote or onsite)
  • Prove acceptable knowledge of WCAG 2.0 AA standards as it regards to the CMS

 

Objective for 2nd 1/3 (Trainee will):

  • Facilitate 2 full Basic CMS Training Sessions with a trainer present (remote or onsite)
  • Be able to facilitate any upcoming remote Basic Training Session independent of other trainers
  • Participate in 1 of each of the following:
    • Project Kickoff Call (See PMs)
    •  User Experience (UX) Call (See Uriz)
    • Designer call (See Taleah)
    • Content Strategy Session (Onsite)
    • WCAG Session (Onsite)- able to educate clients to use generator
    • Building of a client’s CMS Users Template (See PM)
  • Watch each video in the Support tab of the CMS- CMS Videos and attempt the task discussed within each of the videos on the Training.Weknowgovernment.com (Visionville Site)
  • Participate (when able) in Super User Training Sessions (facilitated by other Trainer)
  • Facilitate 2 Super User Training Sessions with another trainer present

 

 

Objective for 3rd 1/3 (Trainee will):

  • Be able to schedule, facilitate, and complete all training objectives for Basic and Super User Sessions independent of others
  • Work on creating/collaborating training materials- “User Experience” questions and answers with step  by step fixes to common client questions (Questions collected by Support Agents/trainee during this 30-60-90 timeline)
  • Prove thorough knowledge of Widgets, Components, Creative page Templating and visionPulse
  • Prove abilities with the need to use Sysadmin “Developer” drop down with a client request and know what to add and to avoid
  • Be able to identify and fix a broken Workflow, Content Role
  • Build at least 1 client’s Content Groups, WFs, Approval Cycle, and Content Roles
    • Must be a Twostep approval cycle
